Jolo needs to be integrated: "First objective: safety."

The successful season is in the memory album, now we are thinking about the new championship
New sporting director Leonardo Pomponio is working to finalize the squad to hand over to the highly-regarded coach Luigi Ambrosio , ready for the 2025/26 Promotion season . In recent days, Jolo management confirmed goalkeepers Lorenzo Cuorvo and Gabriele Giusti, defenders Tommaso Drovandi, Alessandro Bellandi, Tommaso Melani, and Elia Peschi, midfielders Matteo Marchio, Nicholas Medini, and Francesco D'Alò, and forwards Angelo Lo Iacono, Luca Tomberli, and Alessandro D'Agati.
And in the past few hours, the club has revealed its new signings : goalkeeper Ivan Ciuffatelli, defenders Andrea Menichetti, Alessandro Ferroni, Gabriele Scozzari, Alessandro Rossi, and Mirco Torcasso, midfielders Marco Sforzi, Mattia Massaro, Marco Verdi, and Elia Ruscillo, and forwards Flavio Mucaj, Andrea Rozzi, Cosimo Vannini, and Giuseppe Ascolese have arrived at Fantaccini. These are largely players familiar with the division, having already played there for several seasons, and will therefore be expected to provide that extra level of experience that will prove to be a strong point.
Coach Ambrosio (who, in 2022/23, succeeded Viaccia in securing a seemingly impossible relegation) will be tasked with integrating the veterans of last season's triumphant campaign with the new arrivals. The 2024/25 season concluded with the club's long-awaited promotion, secured after a playoff victory against Barberino Tavarnelle in the Prima Categoria.
The club's debut is expected to take place on August 31st in the Coppa Italia di Promozione, while the league opener is scheduled for September 14th. The transfer window is essentially closed, barring any opportunities that may arise in the coming days. And Jolo 's goal, as recently stated by president Gianrico Antoni, is clear: to save themselves as quickly as possible, consolidate their position, and plan for the coming seasons with ambition.
"We've assembled a young team," Pomponio confirmed. "Some of them have played in Serie D, while others have relegated from the Eccellenza league. For the first year, we're aiming for a comfortable relegation . But we're ready to raise the bar, if necessary, based on the feedback we get on the pitch."
